November Reading Minutes are due on Monday. There are lots of options for that.  Sign the November Reading Minute Calendar that was sent home at the beginning of the month, print another calendar from my webpage, send me an email or write a note in your child's agenda that they read their 400 minutes.

Thank you to those who have already selected their activities for the Family Chain.  We are making the chain tomorrow.


This is a great time of year to check to make sure that your child has all the school supplies necessary to be successful.  Items such as glue, sticky notes, pencils and pens often need to be replenished.  All the items I purchased for students to borrow at the beginning of the year have all been used up or not returned.


Students learned about Computer Coding today.  They site Mr. Kehring used was www.code.org if they would like to code at home.  He also sent home permission slips with students who are interested in joining Coding Club.

There are only 2 days of school next week for students - Monday and Tuesday - because of the Thanksgiving Break.


Our class won the acknowledgement for the 4th Grade Recess Challenge.  We were the first class to 20 points - points were received for lining up quickly and quietly.  I will bring them their acknowledgement on Monday. Congrats!!!

Study for Unit Test on Friday.  We worked on a Pre-Assessment of the Unit together and they can finish this as a way to practice for the Unit Test.


Social Studies - Study for States/Water Surrounding Wisconsin Test on November 14. Students should be bringing home a filled out map and a blank map to use as a study guide for the test.

A note went home regarding the Veteran's Day Assembly on Monday, November 12.  Fourth graders are asked to wear white.


Students who turned in their October Reading Minutes received a certificate for a free personal pan pizza from Pizza Hut.  Please note that you have 30 days to use it.  I am still accepting October Reading Minutes.
