I hope that everyone has a wonderful and safe Winter Break.  See you in 2020.

Thank you to everyone who donated food/drinks for our Winter Celebration.  We had plenty and a nice variety, so everyone got something they enjoyed.

We will be spending the majority of tomorrow morning at Menasha High School practicing for the Winter Concert.

The Winter Concert is tomorrow night at 6:00.  Students may arrive at 5:45 and our class will be in Room 114.

If your child has not already done so, please have them bring in $2 for a surprise that we made last week.  The surprise will be coming home at the end of this week.  The $2 is to cover supplies.

If your child has not brought back their permission slip to watch PG movies at school, a reminder was sent home today.  We have earned an Acknowledgement Movie to watch during our Winter Party on Friday but we must have your permission for your child to watch a PG movie.  Also after Winter Break we will begin studying mythology and we watch "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief" as a way to end that unit.  This is a PG movie.

Reminder that the Madison Field Trip is Friday.  Please make sure that your child packs a lunch if they did not order a lunch from school.  They may bring electronics if the volume can be turned to 0 or if they have head phones/ear buds.  Pictures can be taken but games are not allowed to be played at the Capital Building.

A permission slip went home today regarding PG movies in the classroom.  District policy is that Elementary classrooms can only watch G rated movies unless the classroom teacher gets parental/guardian permission to show a PG movie.  My class has earned over 150 Cougar Paws and will be watching an Acknowledgement movie during our Winter Party.  We also will be studying Mythology after Winter Break and we show "Percy Jackson and the Lightning Thief" as a end of the unit activity.

Each student is asked to bring $2 for a surprise that will be coming home next week.

Practice for Unit Test tomorrow.  We worked on this together as a class but there are a few problems that still can be done at home for practice on the unit pre-test.

There is No School for students on Tuesday because of Teacher In-service.

Friday is our Madison trip.  If your child did not order a School Lunch to Go, please make sure that they bring a lunch.  Electronic devices are allowed as long as the volume can be set to 0 or your child has headphones/ear buds.  Students may take picture in the State Capital Building but game playing is not allowed.

Students are asked to bring $2 for a special surprise that they will bring home next week.

Family Chains should be coming home today.  We had about an hour to work on them in class.  Students who did not finish brought home their slips to complete the chain at home.

November Reading Minute Calendars are due and will be accepted until Friday.  If you have misplaced or lost the calendar you can write me an email or a note in your child's agenda that they read their 400 minutes for the month.
