Tomorrow is a Friday schedule so we will have Library. It is also the day of our Reward party and orange/black day. Please make sure that your child has all their assignments complete and turned in so they can join us of the entire party. Also, they may bring a treat if you would like.

Reading groups - have definitions looked up by Monday. Write a sentence or draw a picture for half of the words.

Social Studies - We will be voting for Governor and Senator tomorrow. In order to vote, your child must have their registration cards complete and know their address.

Monday, October 25

There is not any school on Thursday or Friday due to Teacher Convention.

Wednesday is our reward party. Students may bring a treat to share with the class - there are 29 students. We will not be wearing costumes but students may wear orange and black. To earn this reward all work must be complete and turned in. If there are missing and/or incomplete assignments the students will complete these in the hallway and then may join the party. A letter went home last week explaining all of this.

Thursday, October 7

We have earned 10 classroom acknowledgements and our first recognization. We have voted and chosen to wear school appropriate hats all day long at school tomorrow.

Library has been changed to Friday due to students leaving for other classrooms. Please have your child return their library books tomorrow if they would like to check out new ones.

Due to the number of absent students I have extended the chaperone lottery until tomorrow. There are currently 10 parents who want to help us in Madison so there will be a waiting list. Remember parents are eligible to attend only one field trip during 4th grade.

We have been working on creating blogs in Computer Class with Mr. Staehler. Today your child was given a sticker with their log in information - user name and password - that was placed in their Agenda. In the next few days I will send home instructions on how they may use the blog.
