We will hold our classroom Halloween Party after the parade.  Your child may bring a snack to share - there is a peanut allergy in the room.  I have 19 students.  The class also earned having an Electronics Party.  If your child does not bring an electronic device, they may use a class Chrome Book.

Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to chaperone for the field trip - your help was greatly appreciated.  The next field trip will be this spring to a Milwaukee Brewers game.  It is not too early to get your Criminal Background Check done.

I want to compliment my class. This was the best behaved class I have ever taken on a field trip.  They represented Clovis Grove well and I am very proud of them.

Students brought home information for a t-shirt design contest.  They do not have to enter but those who were interested began brainstorming designs after the field trip.  All work will need to be done at home and then brought back to school.

If your child has a Clovis Cougar shirt or sweatshirt, please have them wear it on Wednesday for the field trip.  If they do not have one, one will be provided for them to wear for the day.  It makes it easier for us to spot Clovis Grove students while on the trip.

Please remember to have your child to Clovis by 6:15 on Wednesday.  The bus leaves promptly at 6:30 and will NOT wait for anyone.  If we do not leave by 6:30 we will be late and miss portions of the Capitol tour.

Make sure that your child has a lunch with them.  Some students have ordered lunch from school.  There will NOT be anywhere for students to purchase food.  We are not shopping for souvenirs so your child will not need to bring any money.  Also electronics will have to stay on the bus.  They are not allowed in the capitol building.

Due to some confusion regarding September Reading Minutes, I will accept them until Tuesday.  If you lost or misplaced the September Reading Calendar, you can email me or write a note in your child's agenda verifying that they read at least 400 minutes for the month.

All Field Trip forms and money are due by Friday.  I need to let the kitchen know how many lunches are ordered for the trip by Friday so that they can place their food order for next week.

Study for Unit Test.  We spent Friday and today reviewing the pre-assessment for Unit 1.  Your child was asked to bring the pre-assessment home tonight and just talk to you about the problems and the strategies they used to solve them.  This will help to prepare them for tomorrow's test.
