We finished our final section of the Forward Test today.  Thank you for all your support in making sure that your child was here at school for our testing days.  Children tend to do better when they take the test with their class, instead of having to find a time to make it up.  We still have the District MAP Reading and MAP Math tests coming up in a few weeks.  I will let you know when those have been scheduled.

Letters regarding this year's talent show went home today.  Your child MUST have a signed permission from you in order to try out.  Please read the letter for more details.

I wanted to compliment my students on their outstanding behavior at the Milwaukee Brewers game.  They represented Clovis in a respectful manner.  I also wanted to thank the chaperones.  This trip would not be possible without responsible parents helping out.


If anyone has any Brewer Field Trip pictures that they would like to have included in the yearbook, please remember to send them to me this evening through my school email.  Tomorrow is the deadline for submitting yearbook pictures and I would like to get as many pictures as possible.




Because of the Snow Day last Monday, "Wearing Blue to Support Autism" has been moved to this Monday, April 23.

Please make sure that your child has headphones or ear buds at school for Friday's testing.  We will be taking the Listening portion of the Forward Test.


Permission slips and money for the Brewers Game is due Friday, if you have not already turned it in.


The Milwaukee Brewers game is Wednesday, April 18.  Please make sure that your child has a ride home for that evening because we will be arriving back around 5:45 pm.  Today I discussed what the expectations are and what the Brewers will allow in the stadium.  You can find this information on the Brewers website under security or we will be sending the information home later this week.  Students will  be allow to bring money for the concession stand, if you would like to send some but they are NOT allowed to go into the gift shops.  They are also not allowed to share money or share food that they bought from the concession stand.  If you have any questions or concerns, please email me.

Reminder Field Trip forms were sent home today for anyone who needs to turn permission slips and/or money.


Forms for Family Night at the Timber Rattlers game went home today.  I only had 2 students who returned their March Reading Minutes calendar - so they are the only one who are receiving a free ticket.
