Thursday and Friday will be Bluejay Days.  The Menasha Football team will be coming to Clovis tomorrow at 1:15 so that they can parade around the school and we can wish them well.  Clovis will have the football game on the Smart Boards on Friday morning.

There are many exciting things planned for the Menasha Bluejays Football Team and they head off to state this week. Please check the MJSD website for days, times and locations.

I am sending home reminder packets for students who have not yet returned their forms and/or money for the Madison Field Trip.  The forms/money are not due until Wednesday, November 27.  The deadline for chaperones has passed.

Wear white on Monday, if possible, for the Veteran's Day Assembly.

Per the Parent Handbook students must have jacket, gloves/mittens, hat, boot and (snow pants/snow suit to go on the playground) for outdoor recess.  All students are required to go out for recess.

The chaperone for the Madison Field Trip will be picked tomorrow.  If you have not sent in the chaperone form, please do so by tomorrow or email me.

Monday is the Veteran's Day Assembly, please have your child wear white - if possible.

We are beginning fractions in our new math unit.  A family letter was sent home earlier this week talking about this topic.

Tomorrow is Hats on for Veterans.  For a $1 donation to Old Glory Honor Flights your child may wear a hat for the day.

Information came home today about the Veteran's Day Assembly on Monday.  Fourth grade wears the color white.

The deadline to put your name into the drawing for being a chaperone for the Madison Field Trip is Friday.  Please remember that you must have a Volunteer Background Check done and cleared at least a week before the trip to attend as a chaperone, if your name is picked.  Background Checks are good for 3 years.  I currently have 6 parents who have volunteered and we will pick one name on Friday.  You will be notified if you are the chaperone or placed on a waiting list.

A Math game - Moolah on My Mind - was sent home today.  Your child can play this at home.  It does not have to be brought back.

Home/Connections page 43 - 44.  Students were given 30 minutes to work on this in class.  We also did 2a together as a class.  Many students were able to finish their homework in the time given.

Social Studies - Wisconsin cities. land form and waterways test on Thursday.  We constructed a map together in class and each student was given a blank map to take home to study from.
