We are using pattern block to investigate angles.  Your child was given a resource to bring home with the angle measurements of each pattern block.  They also glued this into their Math Journal.  Please feel free to use this resource whenever necessary.  In the next few sessions, we will learn how to use a protractor.

Home/Connections page 83 - 84.  Students were reminded that the directions stated to use a number line for problems 1 and 2.  We learned about using number lines for elapsed time problems and practiced with them yesterday.

Welcome Back!!  I hope that everyone had an enjoyable Winter Break.


We have learned three strategies for subtraction.  Your child may use any of the strategies to solve problems, unless the directions ask for a specific strategy.  A copy of the strategies was sent home with today's homework.
