Information went home today about a Family Chain activity.  Read over the instructions carefully and return the activity sheet on Monday.  Also have your child bring a bag to school to take home their chain.  There won't be enough room in their back pack for the chain.

November Reading minutes are due on Monday.  If you misplaced your calendar, there is one available on my web page.  Also, you may write a note in your child's agenda indicating that they have read their 400 minutes for November.

Reminder that the Holiday Concert will be on Tuesday at the Menasha High School Auditorium starting at 6:00.

We used the Google Chrome Books for the first time today.  School e-mails are not working yet, but hopefully they will be functioning by Wednesday so that I can begin teaching about e-mail and Google Applications.

We fnished with WKCE testing this afternoon.  Results will not be back from the state until spring time.

Remember to have your child bring back their permission slip for Google email accounts and Google Applications if you would like for them to learn this technology.  I am hoping to bring the Chrome books to the classroom on Thursday and only those students with permission will be allowed to use them.

Friday is our classroom Show and Tell for our Cougar Paw Acknowledgement.

Friday is also the last day to make a purchase from this month's book order, if you would like.

A permission slip went home today regarding Goggle Mail accounts.  With your permission your child will have access to an account set up for them through the school.  As the permission slip states, students will only have internal access - no one from outside the school district will be able to write them and they won't be able to send anyone outside the district an e-mail.  Once permission is given I will teach students how to use Google Documents instead of Microsoft Word, so that they can continue working on projects at home. By giving your child permission, they will also be able to use Chrome books in my classroom, as these require your child to use their school g-mail address.

We have earned more than 30 classroom Cougar Paws and we have voted on a Show and Tell Day for our Acknowledgement.  On Friday afternoon each child will be able to bring in one item to tell us about, if they would like to.

Tomorrow we will be taking our final two WKCE tests.
