We learned about the Menasha Public Library Summer Reading Program today.  Information will be sent home tomorrow.

Tomorrow will be the last Late Start Wednesday for the school year.

Thank you to those who have turned in your permission slip and money for Heritage Hills.  Many students said they lost their first permission slip, so I sent home a second notice to anyone who has not turned in the slip and money.  I did the same for the Tom's permission slips.  All missing work needs to be turned in by Tuesday, June 3 to be eligible for the Tom's incentive - no exceptions.

Tomorrow after lunch will be our final MAP test in Language.  Please make sure that your child is well rested and has a healthy breakfast and lunch so that they can do their best.

Dream Box, the math program purchase by our district, will be available throughout the summer.  Your child may log-in from home as they do now.  This is a great way to make sure your child continues to make gains in math for next school year.

I made copies of a paper protractor that went home today.  It's not as nice as the protractors that you can purchase, but it should be helpful for homework.  Your child is also welcome to bring home their protractor from school and return with it each day.

The Track Meet has been rescheduled for Monday, May 19 in the morning.

Today was Miss Sabina's last presentation for us.  Your child made a seed ball consisting of clay, compost and sandwich sprout seeds.  Have the ball dry for at least a day and plant it.  In about 2 weeks after planting, you should see sandwich sprouts that you can eat.

We have MAP Math tomorrow afternoon.  Please make sure that your child is well rested and has a healthy lunch so that they can do their best.

Permission slips went home today for our field trip to Heritage Hills.

Remember to arrange transportation for your child to be picked up around 5:15 tomorrow.  If you did not order a school lunch, make sure your child brings a lunch, following the security guidelines that were sent home on Friday.  Your child may also purchase a lunch at the stadium, if you wish.  If you have any other questions, please go to brewers.com.

The Fourth Grade will be holding a spelling bee.  Five finalist from each class will compete for the medal on Monday, June 2.  We will hold our classroom bee on Thursday, May 22 to determine who the five finalist will be.  Each student was given a packet of words to study.

Please remember that Wednesday is the Brewers Game.  You will need to provide transportation for your child when we return at 5:15.
