A slip went home today for the school "Lunch To Go" for the Milwaukee Brewers Game.  Please have your child return the slip by Tuesday, April 29, if you are interested in purchasing a lunch from school.  Your child may also purchase food items at the stadium.

A second permission slip for the Brewers Game has also went home to those who have not turned in their slip and/or money yet.

Tomorrow is a Late Start Wednesday.

Any student who earned the Timber Rattler Acknowledgements by turning in their February Reading Minutes on time received their ticket voucher and coupon for a hot dog/soda today.  These were attached to a form about a Family Night that Clovis will be holding at Timber Rattler Stadium this year.  The note should contain all the information you will need.  Your ticket voucher can be used that evening.  The ticket voucher can NOT be used for the Brewers game. 

Today we held the Human Growth and Development Talks. Your child was encouraged to talk to you if they had any questions.

We are beginning our Math unit on Fractions and Decimals starting tomorrow.  Please continue having your child practice their multiplication flashcards.  The first day of 5th grade they begin learning about fractions with unlike denominators and the more fluent they are with their facts the easier this will be.  Also, they will not be able to use a multiplication table in 5th grade.

Miss Sabina from Farm2School came and taught us imporant things to look for on food labels.  She also made a smoothie for us.

A note went home today regarding the Milwaukee Brewers Game.  Please read it over carefully, as you will need to pick your child up from school that day because we return after dismissal time.  If you would like to be a chaperone, please remember that you MUST have a criminal background check complete and cleared to join us, if you are chosen.  The background check can take 2 or more weeks to process.  You must have a criminal background check done each school year.
