Tomorrow is MAP Math in the afternoon. Please make sure that your child is well rested so that they can do their best.
A note will be going home tomorrow about our Reward Valentine's Day Party. Your child must have all their assignments turned or they will be completing them in the hallway during the party. Your child was told about this a few weeks ago to give them ample time to make up any missing work they have.
Next Wednesday, Feb. 11 is a Late Start
Next Thursday, Feb. 12 is Literacy Night. An invitation went home earlier this week with an RSVP deadline of Friday.
Homework:
Reading - read 20 minutes or look for pictures during the time period your famous person lived. Your child may either print off the pictures to bring in or copy and paste them into Google Doc. They should be looking for pictures such as time period dress, houses, food, transportation, etc. They should be looking beyond pictures of their famous person.
Writing - look for pictures of time period of famous person - see above
Spelling - Illustrate 7 words OR define 7 words
Math - study new flashcards. Today we made flashcards for our measurement unit with the customary units. Please have your child study these, so they are proficient with these terms and what they equal.
