Homework/Remembering 3-4. We are beginning to use the digit-by-digit method for division. This is the method that you probably use. I have told students they MUST do their division using graph paper so that everything lines up and there is less chance of an error. I put a piece of graph paper in all mailboxes today. If your child runs out of room on the graph paper, you can simply take a piece of notebook paper, turn in sideways and use that to line up all the digits. You can also find graph paper at websites such as math-drills.com
Remember if your child's solar system project is still in the library, please make arrangements to take it home by Friday.
