We had a wonderful start to Fourth grade. We spent much of the day learning the Cougar Code in the classroom and throughout the building.. Ask your child about the Cougar Paws they received. Hopefully someone in my room will be picked in tomorrow's raffle.
Your child brought home a reading log today. Please mark the number of minutes they read each evening, total the minutes at the end of the month, sign the sheet and return it October 1. here will be a log sent home each month. Your child is expected to read 400 minutes a month. If you misplace the log, another one can be found on my webpaeg or use the calendar in the agenda planner. A letter was sent home explaining how to get on to my webpage. You can access this from home or the Menasha Public Library has computers available for public use.
Please remember to sign your child's agenda for each day. We have discussed how it is your child's responsibility to have you sign it but a few reminders to get into the routine may be needed.

Reading - read 20 minutes
Math - study flashcards
Other - bring packet packet of information that went home with the picture order form.
